The ANC will soon meet with its partners in the tripartite alliance, Cosatu and the SACP, to discuss their recent differences.
This was decided during a meeting of the ANC's National Working Committee attended by President Thabo Mbeki and Jacob Zuma, the party's deputy. Zwelinzima Vavi, the Cosatu secretary-general, recently expressed concern that South Africa was sliding towards a dictatorship under the current leadership.
